Dreams Come to Me as I Listen

Dreams Come to Me as I Listen is a collection of digital drawings created on iPad while listening to audiobooks. Each piece is a visual echo — a continuation of the stories that unfold in my ears. As I listen, words dissolve into gestures, emotions turn into shapes, and colors translate the rhythm of voices and silences. These drawings are not illustrations of specific scenes but meditations born from sound and imagination. They live in the space between story and dream, where narration becomes image and reflection. Made with the simplest of tools — the built-in Notes app and a stylus — each figure emerges spontaneously, guided more by feeling than by plan. Their forms recall creatures and characters that never appear in the original tales, yet somehow belong to them — the unspoken part of the story.
